Scientific activity of the university

In September 2021, Vyatka State University was among the winners of the Priority 2030 program, the largest state support and university development program in the country's history, conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation as part of the federal project "Development of integration processes in the field of science, higher education and industry” of the national project “Science and Universities”and the federal project "Personnel for the Digital Economy" of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

The goal of the Priority 2030 program is to form a broad group of universities that will become leaders in creating new scientific knowledge, technologies and developments for implementation in the Russian economy and social sphere.

Universities that have become participants in the program will develop and disseminate the best practices of research, innovation and educational activities throughout the higher education system, increase the attractiveness of life and work in the regions of Russia, including for foreign students and foreign scientists. They will allow graduates of Russian universities to develop the skills and abilities necessary for their success in the modern labor market and in the future in the context of rapid scientific and technological progress.

For the implementation of the “Program for the Development of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Vyatka State University” for 2021-2030”, the university will receive additional federal funding in the amount of 100 million rubles. for 2021 and 2022.

One of the key sections of the "Program ..." is the "Research policy and policy in the field of innovation and commercialization of developments", which establishes the characteristics of the research environment, the territory of responsibility and influence, where employees and students of Vyatka State University conduct their research. It also sets out the principles for managing research at the university.

The policy continues and concretizes the activities previously initiated by the university for the development of scientific research that develops cooperation between the scientific areas of the university, ensures the formation of multidisciplinary projects and forms the image of the university in the scientific community, and is focused on the implementation of research and development in the interests of enterprises and organizations - partners of the university.
