The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, together with the Council on Grants of the President of the Russian Federation for State Support of Young Russian Scientists and for State Support of Leading Scientific Schools of the Russian Federation, announces a competitive selection for scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists and postgraduate students carrying out promising research and development in priority areas of modernization of the Russian economy, for 2021-2023
You can apply from September 9 to October 9.
Young scientists up to 35 years old and graduate students who carry out scientific research in the following areas can participate:
Energy efficiency and energy saving, including the development of new types of fuel,
Nuclear technology,
Space technologies related to telecommunications, including GLONASS, and the program for the development of space infrastructure,
Medical technologies, primarily diagnostic equipment, as well as medicines,
Strategic information technology, including the creation of supercomputers and software development.
The selection criteria are scientific achievements, including: publications of articles in high-ranking journals Web of Science and Scopus, participation in scientific research, conferences and seminars, results of intellectual activity, prizes, medals and other awards for the period from 2016 to 2020.
Applications are accepted electronically. Registration on the website of the Council for Grants grants.extech.ru and filling in interactive forms are required.
