In VyatSU only for the year 2018 and the beginning of the 2019th, 23 lecturers received cash awards for defending dissertations for the degree of candidate and doctor of science, as well as for dissertation advising.
One of the priorities of VyatSU is the support of teachers who have achievements in research activities.
Since 2012, the University has a Regulation that regulates the amount of remuneration for employees who have defended dissertations for the degree of candidate or doctor of science, as well as for employees who were their dissertation advisors.
According to the Regulations, a monetary bonus in the amount of 300,000 rubles is paid to a university employee upon awarding a doctoral degree, a monetary bonus in the amount of 150,000 rubles is paid to a university employee upon awarding a scientific degree by the candidate of science. In addition, the award in the amount of 50,000 rubles is paid to an employee of the university who was the dissertation advisor (consultant) of an employee of the university who was awarded a degree.
Since the beginning of the Regulation, 78 VyatSU employees have been paid cash bonuses. For 2018 and the beginning of 2019, payments were made to 23 teachers who have defended doctoral and candidate dissertations, as well as their dissertation advisors.
