Teaching in basic and secondary schools (new).
According to preliminary data, more than 40 students of our university who study in undergraduate and graduate programs will take part in the competition. College students, according to the regulations, will take part in competitions outside of contests. For three days (from September 30 to October 30), the contestants will demonstrate their professional skills by completing a test task consisting of different modules. Winners in each competency will receive the right to defend the honor of our university at the National Final of the WorldSkills Interuniversity Championship, which is held annually in Moscow at the end of the year.
How is the competition held?
The competition of the contestants is held in groups by competency. When applying for participation in the qualifying championship, the contestants choose the competence according to their field of study. Throughout all competition days, participants perform a series of tasks, the result of which is evaluated by a team of experts. One compatriot expert is accredited with each competitor. The main experts are appointed by the Union "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)", who are certified according to international standards.
Competitors - young professionals - have the opportunity to take part in such a large-scale event, demonstrate their potential to employers and start building their career path right now, as well as become the owner of the Skills Passport and strengthen their resume with real skills.
The value of the competitions lies in the fact that they are held according to international standards and that independent WorldSkills experts and well-established professionals are involved in the work. Such an independent and objective assessment allows us to assess the quality of the preparation of the best students who participate in the competition, and to understand how well we prepare our students. This will make it possible to adjust educational activities and teaching at the university taking into account Russian and international standards.
The championship will be held on the grounds of the main campus of the university from 11 to 15 March, according to preliminary data, about 100 competitors and experts will take part in it.
