VyatSU designs a new stage on the Theatre square
In spring the stage on the Theatre square between VyatSU 2nd building and the Drama Theater was deconstructed. It was planned to erect a Ferris wheel in its place. However, it became known in August that the attraction installation at the Theater square is impossible. Soon the information appeared that the stage complex will be returned back to the main city square.
In this regard, VyatSU took the initiative to participate in the discussion of a new concept of the stage and to develop its project.
VyatSU experts immediately took into account all the shortcomings of the old design: its appearance and inability to conduct modern, large-scale events.
Valentin Pugach, VyatSU acting rector:
We propose the scene to be beautiful, match the historical and architectural ensemble of the Theatre Square and to meet different technical and functional requirements. We have prepared several sketches, which were presented to the working group of the city administration. Our proposals have aroused interest. In addition to our proposals, the city administration will discuss other designs.
We join a creative discussion on this topic and believe that our proposal is the best one.
We believe that the question how the Theatre square should look like is to be decided not only by officials, but by the relevant experts, specialists, social activists and residents of our city as well.
A new project prepared by VyatSU specialists promises to be more functional and cost profitable. The project is planned to be implemented in the next year.
