A meeting of Kirov students with the leadership of the region and rectors of the leading universities of the region was held at the “Boiling Point” of VyatSU

During the event, timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Students, a frank conversation took place about the current life, problems and prospects of young people receiving higher education in the Kirov region.

The rector of VyatSU Valentin Pugach devoted the main part of his speech to the organization of student self-government, spoke about its key elements, listed the main student associations of the university, and reported on the most striking cases.

- More than half of our students are involved in various student activities. It must be remembered that the rest of the students make up a reserve for involvement. And it is also important that all affairs and events are full of life, reflect the real needs of time and society, - the rector believes.

The second part of the meeting consisted of students' questions. They concerned the creation of a single interuniversity space for communication and joint creativity, opportunities for internships in various structures, participation in grant programs, employment prospects at enterprises in the region.
