The first lesson will be held on October 4, 2017.
This city project is being held for the third time by a local newspaper "Moy Pro Gorod" and Vyatka State University. All classes within the project are free of charge. This year all listeners and participants will be presented more interesting topics and surprises.
The first lesson is scheduled to be devoted to Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol.
Great Russian writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol passed away 165 years ago. Shortly before his death he confessed: "It's so cold without love and warmth, that sometimes I am scared”,
- Ksenia Litsareva, Dean of VyatSU Faculty of Philology and Media Communications says.
At the first literature lesson the listeners will be told about Gogol's fears, his selfless messianic devotion to the Russian literature, his painful death, about various legends following the writer's name, and his almost total absence in contemporary cinema.
