St. Petersburg hosts the second humanitarian and economic summit Russia-Africa

One of the most significant events in 2023 is the Russia-Africa Summit, which takes place in St. Petersburg on July 27-28. Representatives of 49 African countries are participating in this great event. The issues under consideration are striking in their breadth: the development of industry, agriculture, subsoil use, economic, information security and, of course, education and science.

Vyatka State University is represented at the summit by a delegation led by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Sergey Fomin. On the sidelines of the summit, representatives of Vyatka State University held a series of negotiations, which resulted in signed agreements on cooperation with the universities of Mali, one of the most intensively developing countries on the African continent. Colleagues from Mali are interested in the possibility of attracting VyatSU teachers to conduct online classes, academic exchanges of students and staff, and joint research. We thank the Anyway.Law International Consulting Company for assistance in signing the agreement.

Vyatka State University is ready to expand the geography of cooperation with foreign universities in the humanitarian, scientific and educational areas.
