On June 2, an exhibition of cultures of the peoples of the world, prepared by the department of international activities with the participation of the museum of the university, began its work at the Vyatka State University.
The initiator of the creation of the exposition was the president of the Kirov branch of the Association of Foreign Students of Russia Khaidar Khalil, a sophomore of the master's program at Vyatka State University. Exhibits - national flags and costumes, dishes and decorations, toys and souvenirs - were provided by students and university staff.
"We want to show how beautiful our countries and talented people are" - noticed employee of the department of international activities Dildora Binaeva.
The participants were greeted by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Sergey Fomin. He spoke about the fact that representatives of many countries of the world are studying at Vyatka State University today.
"Communication with the students who come to us, of course, enriches. They are all talented in their own way. They bring new notes to the student body of our university. We try to make them more, so that our cultural diversity expands and grows" - emphasized Sergey Valerievich.
The participants of the opening ceremony of the exhibition (among them there were many Vyatka State University college students) were especially lucky: among those present was the third-year student of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology Marlene Faria Antoni, a representative of Angola. She provided several exhibits: one of them is lemo, a piece of wood used for cooking. National necklaces and bracelets aroused great interest - Marlene said that Angolan girls love spectacular jewelry. A student from Angola also captivated the audience with an original hairstyle - it turned out that it can be done in just 20 minutes.
The ceremony was decorated with the performance of the second-year student Dilnoza Yernazarova: she performed the Uzbek national dance.
As the organizers explained, the exhibition of cultures of the peoples of the world will run until July 30. We invite you to visit the museum space on the 3rd floor of the main building and touch the culture of different countries.
