A student of VyatSU Institute of Chemistry and Ecology dreams of applying his knowledge in his native country
A few years ago Avram Simic from Kruševac (Serbia) knew nothing about Kirov and Kirov region. But once he occasionally found some on-line information about the Master degree programs of Vyatka State University.
By that time, Avram had completed a bachelor's degree course in industrial management at one of Serbian universities. He had also got an interesting working experience: at an insurance company and on board of a cruise ship following from North to South America.
Avram had always planned to visit Russia: his grandmother, a teacher of Russian, instilled an interest in this country to him. And finally it came true: Russian Vyatka State University proposed a master's program “Ecology and Nature Management”, that was surely significant and prospective for Avram. So Avram Simic from Serbia came to Kirov and became a student of VyatSU Preparatory Faculty first, and continued as a graduate of VyatSU Institute of Chemistry and Ecology.
At first there was a language barrier: I didn’t know Russian at all, - Avram confessed.
VyatSU Institute of Chemistry and Ecology staff, inspired by communication with Avram, is making a lot of new plans, like teaching some subjects in English. This will be a significant support to foreign students, who are always welcomed at VyatSU!
