On May 26, 2017 (11.45 a.m. room 1-439) VyatSU will hold an annual competition of student projects "House of my Dream" among 1st-year students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture within a discipline "Fundamentals of Architecture and Building Constructions".
The event is aimed on stimulating students’ activity in mastering general and special knowledge in the field of architecture and building structures, developing students' creative abilities, and also on identifying talented young people.
For about 4 months the students have been designing a house for a family of 4-5 people. This construction is made of small-sized elements and contains at least 2 levels. The total area of the house is up to 350 sq.m.
Ten best projects of houses selected by the jury will be awarded with diplomas of Vyatka State University.
The jury is to be headed by Gennady Mikhailovich Bezverkhov, Honored Architect of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Architecture, Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at Vyatka State University.
The selection committee will also include teachers of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning and senior students of the Architectural Student Center of Vyatka State University.
