Ten students from a team "Anker" of VyatSU Faculty of Electrical Engineering have worked in the power supply company for more than a month.
Their aim was to analyze and identify positives and negatives of work organization in KIROVENERGO. "Kaizen" or "lean production" approach formed a methodological base for the analyses. It should be mentioned that this approach is now being actively implemented in VyatSU educational process.
One part of the group worked in the Department of energy construction of vehicle company (OAO “Avtotransportnoye Khozyaystvo”), the other part in technical service of the North and South power supply networks of KIROVENERGO.
In OAO “ATKH” the students together with instructors carried out the modernization of distributional networks of high-voltage lines (0.4 kV) in Kirov suburbs.
Working in the production departments of KIROVENERGO, another group assembled the remote shields of electricity metering.
Positivity, friendly atmosphere in the team and inexhaustible energy helped the students to cope with all the tasks. The future specialists gained extensive experience and established skills in practice.

Thanks for taking us for real workers, not beginners or students. They were demanding to us, but I believe that hard work in real conditions gives the best experience".
The instructors of "Anker" team highly appreciated the organization, communication skills and discipline of the boys. They also noted the coordinated teamwork and genuine interest in the energy supply.
Besides of main work “Anker” team took an active part in community life. For example, the students visited one of the newest substations of KIROVENERGO branch "MRSK of Centre and Volga region" – 110/35/10 "SSK" substation, as well as the Controlling Board of the branch Network Control Center. In addition, the students visited Belokholunitsky Orphanage, where they organized the event on prevention of children's injuries from electricity. They together planted "the tree of friendship" in memory of this meeting.
We recall that in April 2016 VyatSU Acting Rector Valentin Pugach and Director of KIROVENERGO branch “MRSK of Centre and Volga region" Alexander Tsaregorodtsev agreed to cooperation.
