Dear Colleagues, dear Friends!
The warmest congratulations from my heart to the teachers and staff, students, post-graduates, graduates and veterans of Vyatka State University, as well as to all locals of Kirov region on the coming New Year 2017, and I thank all of you for your support and sincere interest in the plans implementation in the outgoing old year.
2016 was rich in events. The most significant event of the year for us was the union of the largest regional universities. We have received support from the Ministry of Education and Science. We have entered the list of eleven Basic National Universities. We have become larger, we have become more significant. The "total weight" of our team has changed greatly.
We have much to be proud of: the University lives a busy life full of scientific and innovative developments and improves its material and technical base.
Our success is not accidental; since the main reason of it is a wonderful team of teachers, staff and talented students. I am convinced that our joint work will successfully continue in 2017, as the team has already proven the ability to cope with difficult tasks of higher education modernization, in a situation when maximum responsibility and professionalism is demanded from everybody.
Dear Colleagues! Thank you for your hard work, for everything you’ve done during last year. I wish you inexhaustible creativity, ambitious achievements and professional promotion, energy and optimism, good health, warmth and harmony in your families!
My special congratulations to those students, who multiply the University’s glory by their scientific, artistic and sports success. I wish them good luck in all their achievements!
