Vyatka State University employees took part in the All-Russian Forum aimed at solving the problems of developing NTI markets and increasing the competitiveness of domestic companies in high-tech global markets
In early October, the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) hosted the I All-Russian Forum “New Production Technologies”, which became a discussion platform for solving the problems of developing the markets of the National Technological Initiative and increasing the competitiveness of domestic companies in high-tech global markets. The agenda of the forum was consistent with the objectives of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, the National Project “Science” and the project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation “Digital Industry”.
Among the organizers of the forum are SPbPU, the Competence Center NTI SPbPU New Production Technologies”, the Association “Technet” and a group of high-tech companies CompMechLab®. The general partner of the forum was JSC Russian Venture Company (RVC), the strategic partner was the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.
The forum brought together more than 400 participants, including heads and specialists of state corporations and leading high-tech enterprises, leaders of domestic science and education, representatives of federal and regional authorities from different parts of the country. The Flagship University of the Kirov region was presented by the Director of the Polytechnic Institute, Ivan Gubin, the acting Head of the Department of Engineering Technology, Denis Sergeev, the employee of the Engineering Center of VyatSU, Oleg Agafonov.
Panel discussion “NTI Competence Centers in implementing programs of world-class scientific and educational centers”, round tables, plenary meeting on digital technologies and their application, “Mirror Engineering Center” case session - more than 20 events made up a rich forum program.
Within the framework of the forum, the university employees took part in project sessions on training specialists in new production technologies, on designing the “competency chain” in the field of New Production Technologies.
The event was another step towards the emergence of the Mirror Engineering Center in the Kirov region. The idea of creating Mirror Engineering Centers was first voiced by representatives of the Competence Center NTI SPbPU “New Production Technologies” at the educational intensity “Island 10-22”.
The model proposed by the representatives of the NTI SPbPU Center involves the creation of regional platforms - centers of competence in the direction of new production technologies, designed to develop markets and competencies through joint projects with universities and industrial partners of the regions, and implementation of joint educational programs.
