Vyatka State University leaders and the Kirov region leaders in a solemn ceremony congratulated the new university students, college students and students of Innovative Education Lyceum.
Solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge in the Vyatka State University was truly multinational.
In 2015 the desire for the formation in one of the most prestigious universities in the country, expressed а students not only the of the Kirov region and the Russian Federation, but also from Azerbaijan, China, Latvia, Moldova, the Sudan, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
Total 54 residents of foreign countries. By the way, students from Tajikistan welcomed the audience on its national language.
Acting Rector Vyatka State University Valentin Pugach said, that ahead difficult, but very interesting time, and expressed the hope, that the students will soon actively join in social, sports, political and scientific life of the University.
- University did a lot so you could be proud of their studies at our university. We have prepared well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, added comfort in the hostel, invited to the best teachers and professors in our region. For you created all conditions to make you a good, fun and interesting. If still you attach all the powers, I am sure, you will succeed.

Profile of the regional economy is largely formed on the basis of the directions of scientific schools, subjects are taught in high school. Also, new students received symbolic gifts - a student card and a key to the university.
