The seminar of famous Japanese business producer in the field of real estate Tomohiro Makino takes place in Vyatka State University

On September 11, the Vyatka State University hosts a seminar “Regional Development Strategy Based on the Current Situation in Japan”, organized as part of the cooperation of the Association of Presidential Program Participants of the Kirov Region and the ANO “Japan Center for the Development of Trade and Economic Relations” (Nizhny Novgorod). The director of the Japan Center Yutaka Kunugida and a well-known business producer in real estate, representative director of Oraga Soken Co., Ltd. and Office Makino Corporation Tomohiro Makino became the guests of the Flagship University of the region.

There were so many listeners – participants of the Presidential program, representatives of the business community of the region, employees and students of VyatSU, heads of municipalities, initiative citizens - that it was necessary to change the audience originally planned for the meeting to a more spacious one.

In his greeting, Mr. Kunugida thanked the Flagship University of Kirov region for cooperation in organizing meetings with representatives of the Japanese business community: they have already become a tradition. He noted that the pressing issues of modern Japan are largely consistent with the problems that are being solved today in Russia in the framework of national projects. Therefore, it was decided to invite Mr. Makino, a well-known specialist in Japan and an active lecturer, to conduct seminars in a number of Russian cities.

- I am not a scientist, not a theorist, not a critic - I am involved in producing projects. I reason and speak from the perspective of a businessman, - stressed Mr. Makino.

During the seminar, he talked about demographic changes in Japan, features of the industrial structure and trends in real estate, affecting the development of cities.

People rushed to big cities in search of welfare. Our task is to increase well-being in the regions, - said Mr. Makino, who shared with the participants of the seminar recipes for improving the metabolism of the urban environment. The concept of a "compact city", the idea of a railway station as an independent means of attracting people, the use of the latest business strategies and much more - today such steps need to be taken on the way to create and improve cities in which you really want to live.

Let the regions shine again! - that's Tomohiro Makino's message. The guest from the Land of the Rising Sun is sure that the proposed methods of activation of the regions should lead to their revival.
