Vyatka State University students taken off the best story of the Festival of Media "on seven hills. Vyatka 2013 "

Xenia Prozorova and Anton Mamaev  became winners of "News factory" at the Festival of Media

The first day of the Festival of Media "On seven hills. Vyatka-2013 " students 1, 2 and 3 courses of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences took part in the project "Factory of the news".

In the morning Artem Panikarovskih and Svetlana Kolyshnitsyna, the journalists of company "STS-9 channel", were discussing with the students the tasks for the day.

Is there a future for the print media? How can the media help in solving problems of adoption of children? What role do volunteers at the Festival of the media? How to make news for the student television? These and other questions the students reflected in their stories and then presented them to the executive producer of the English edition of "Voice of Russia", professor of the Faculty of Media "Higher School of Economics" Oleg Dmitriev.

- I am pleasantly surprised. Well done guys and certainly coped with the task. Not every first-year student would dare to pick up the camera and go to make video, - told Oleg Dmitriev.

 

At the close of the Festival of Media Oleg Dmitriev and Svetlana Kolyshnitsyna announced the winners of the "Factory of the news"  - Xenia Prozorov (the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, 1 year) and Anton Mamaev (the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Telecommunications, 1 year) with the story "The future of print media in modern conditions".

The topic was difficult, but the guys coped with the task. Topic-winner will be featured in the TV company "STS-9 channel." Other participants will have the opportunity of practice on the television.

Oleg Dmitriev invited a journalists with excellent knowledge of the English language for training in Moscow for the radio "Voice of Russia".
