On April 10 a conference for employees and students on the Rector’s election was held at Vyatka State University.
196 delegates representing scientists and teachers, administration and management staff, floor personnel and students were nominated for voting. All of them were present.
Four candidates have been nominated for the election. As a result Valentin Nikolayevich Pugach has been elected for the post of the Rector of the Vyatka State University by simple majority. He continues his work to lead the University for the following five years.
