VyatSU Botanical Garden continues to receive guests in the summer of 2021

The issues of nature protection and environmental protection are among the priorities in the world today. For future lawyers, they are also important from a professional point of view, since among the disciplines they study is "Environmental Law".

An excursion to the Botanical Garden gave students the opportunity to directly touch the world of wildlife, see plants that are presented here in a wide variety, and some specimens are included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. The work of the employees of the Botanical Garden is to preserve the plant gene pool and is of great importance for the protection and enrichment of the flora world.

After the excursion, in the classroom of the garden, the results of the study of the discipline "Environmental Law" for the semester were summed up. The most active work, the most informative and memorable reports, according to the students, were rewarded with gifts - pedunculate oak saplings, which are descendants of a tree planted more than a hundred years ago by the founder of the botanical garden, retired colonel A.A.Istomin.

Awards were received by: Victoria Mokerova and Victoria Shishkina (presentation on the topic "Why are eco-ducts being built in different countries of the world?"), Daria Chirkunova ("Gardening" project, aimed at preserving the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War).

The Volga-Vyatka Institute expresses gratitude to the staff of the Botanical Garden of Vyatka State University for the unique opportunity to visit the main "green" area of the city and the high level of organization of the meeting.
