The results of innovative research were presented by Professor Sergey Plotnikov and Associate Professor Shamil Buzikov during a visit to the "auto-giant"
Last week, Professor Sergei Plotnikov and Associate Professor Shamil Buzikov, representatives of the Vyatka State University Polytechnic Institute, visited the KAMAZ automobile plant in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Employees of the scientific team of "TEM" have been actively engaged in research in the field of power engineering for a long time, interacting with colleagues from the natural science departments of Vyatka State University, industrial enterprises of the region and scientists from other universities, having in their arsenal a significant amount of research and development, over a dozen of which are protected by titles of protection.
The auto giant KAMAZ PJSC is actually the flagship of the automotive industry in Russia, producing products whose performance characteristics exceed the world level in most indicators. Nevertheless, specialists from the research and production center (NPC), being aware of scientific trends, became interested in the developments of scientists from Vyatka State University.
The meeting took place at the invitation of the factory workers. The hosts cordially welcomed the representatives of Vyatka State University, organized a tour of the production workshops, introduced them to promising models that are being put on the conveyor, and outlined the existing problems. During the round table, which was attended by Marat Khannanov, Deputy Chief Designer for Advanced Engines, Vyacheslav Burlakov, Head of the Engine Mechanisms and Systems Engineering Department, Alexander Gordeev, Chief Engine Operations Specialist, and other specialists, the innovations proposed by VyatSU researchers were heard and discussed.
Several ideas voiced and shown "on the iron" were immediately sent to the calculation department of the NPC to determine the balance of benefits and costs when they are introduced into production. In the near future, it is possible that the management of KAMAZ will propose the forms and conditions for further cooperation.
