"The knowledge gained at VyatSU will allow me to benefit my native country"

Kahlan Najib Atef came to Russia from Sana'a, the capital of the Republic of Yemen. Today Kakhlan is a sophomore at the Institute of Chemistry and Ecology of Vyatka State University. He shared his impressions of studying at the largest university in the Kirov region.

  -  I learned about Vyatka State University from my friend, who persistently recommended this university to me for higher education. As a result, I became a student at the Institute of Chemistry and Ecology of Vyatka State University, where I am mastering the specialty "Chemical Technology". Now I myself can say with confidence: VyatSU is a wonderful university, it has a strong teaching staff and modern laboratories. I am sure that the acquired knowledge, formed professional competencies will allow me to work successfully in my native country in the future, for its benefit and good, - said Kahlan.

The Vyatka climate did not become a hindrance - a representative of a warm country made friends with the harsh Russian winter without any problems. Kakhlan also speaks warmly about Kirov.

  -  Kirov is a good city. I am pleased that it was he who became the venue for my student years, - remarked Kahlan.

A lover of cooking, he has mastered the preparation of dishes popular in Russia.

  -  Now I often cook borscht - I like it very much! - the student admitted.

Kahlan uses every opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of the country, which has become his second home. This, he is sure, is necessary for comprehending the diversity of the modern world and mastering effective communication.

At the same time, Kahlan considers it important to acquaint new friends with the traditions of his native Yemen.

  -  Language, songs, dances, cuisine - all this is dear to me; and I am pleased when others show interest in the country that I love with all my heart , - he shared.

Kahlan is a man of versatile interests, one of them is chess. The student admitted:

   - I am glad that I took part in the chess tournament among foreign students of VyatSU: it was interesting!
