The VyatSU Student’s Theater “Sreda” presented a new play created based on the novel of the famous writer and journalist Andrei Maximov. The author was the guest of the premiere

Dmitry Isupov, the director of the VyatSU Student's Theater “Sreda”, staged a new play “About the forgotten - unforgotten, about love and life ...” - and again proved that he is an artist with his own handwriting and the theme of his works are not depend on the changing fashion.

The basis of the play is the book “The Love of the last century. Mark Maximov and his friends”. The book is dedicated to poets who lived and worked half a century ago. Will their poems be able to “hook” on today's twenty-year-olds? That was exactly happened at the premiere of the play, the audience of which, with bated breath, watched what was happening on the stage. It was a leisurely narration about people the author had been able to communicate since his childhood. Alexander Volodin, Leonid Martynov, Yuliya Drunina, Veronika Tushnova, Yury Levitansky ... And, of course, Andrei's father - poet, playwright, journalist, translator Mark Maximov. In the book, Andrey Maximov devoted to him the most shrill lines and a confession: “The longer I live, the worse my fatherless life”.

In turn, Andrei Maximov made a gift to fans of his creativity by taking part in a meeting at the site of VyatSU. Relationships of parents and children, the life position of the individual, poets of the past and the present, new books, training of a professional journalist in a high school - Maximov’s conversation with students and teachers of the Flagship University was devoted to these topics. Not all positions and not for all people the guest’s reasoning seemed indisputable, but many people appreciated the honesty and unusual thinking.
