In the Volga Federal District in the women's tournament, two teams received this right: PNRPU (Perm) and VyatSU (Kirov)! None of the teams made it to the finals "by chance", but made a long way for this. Therefore, from the very first match, stubborn and intense battles began. It was a struggle for every precious point in the games in the subgroups. According to the results of the draw, the VyatSU women's team was in-group “A” together with the teams of the AltSU (Barnaul), Leningrad State University named after A.S. In the fight for medals, the VyatSU team won one victory and suffered two annoying defeats, losing the minimal advantage to two points in the endings of the games ... The final result is 7th place.
