Vyatka State University awards diplomas to future civil servants

19 new specialists in public administration got their diplomas in Kirov region. Vladimir Klimov, Chief Federal Inspector for Kirov region presented diplomas and certificates to students of Minor Academy of Public Administration.

The graduates got congratulations from Yuri Kuvaldin, Vice-Rector of Vyatka State University, as VyatSU is a studying base for training of future government managers.

The training term at Minor Academy of Public Administration is about 2 years. During this period the students of the Academy mastered not only theory; they also had an opportunity to meet heads of the region, senators, and ministers. The students of Minor Academy of Public Administration also participated in thematic trainings and discussions.

The main criteria for competitive selection for students of MAPA are high academic achievement and their work experience in socio-political and organizational areas. And the best graduates of MAPA are added to the personnel reserve of the state, municipal, regional, district and federal levels.

This year 19 students of the Academy have become the best of the best. Vladimir Klimov and Yury Kuvaldin presented certificates of graduation from Minor Academy of Public Administration and diplomas on professional retraining in direction "State and municipal management".

In addition top four graduates received letters of recommendation from Vladimir Klimov for admission to the state and municipal service.

To get the diploma of Minor Academy of Public Administration the students passed a series of tests: they presented their management projects on socially important issues of the region, and passed state exams. The level of the students' training was assessed by the examination committee, which included the Chief Federal Inspector for Kirov Region, Director of MAPA Elena Karanina, and the best teachers of Vyatka State University.
