Communication, in which the chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Kirov region Valentin Pugach also participated, became alive and warm, giving the joy of acquaintance with the culture of different countries and a frank conversation with the guests on exciting topics
On September 14, another, already fourth, meeting was held in Engineerium! - Meeting of the Governor of the Kirov region Igor Vasilyev with foreign students of Kirov universities. One of the participants at the event was also chairman of the Council of Rectors of the Universities in the region, rector of Vyatka State University, Valentin Pugach. Maria Sadakova-Ilyina, Head of the Office of Information Work and Communications VyatSU, was the moderator.
Speaking to the audience, Igor Vasilyev thanked the participants of the meeting - students from African countries, Asia, America, Europe - for choosing the Kirov region as their place of studies.
Today, almost a thousand students from different countries are studying in universities in the region - we hope there will be even more! The Kirov region is attractive not only in terms of obtaining high-quality higher education; The state of the infrastructure is also steadily improved here. I think each of you will leave with the most pleasant memories of staying in the Kirov region -
told the head of the region.
Valentin Pugach, in turn, suggested to get acquainted closer and asked, from which countries came students, there are many freshmen among them, with which mood they have begun to study, are there any difficulties. As always for representatives of warm countries, the main problem was climate: for those who came from Africa, Vyatka weather, to put it mildly, is not entirely familiar.
I am sure that you will be able to adapt; And most importantly - the whirlpool of the events of student life will surround you, the warmth of the souls of new friends will be so noticeable that you will be comfortable on Vyatka, -
Valentin Nikolayevich noted.
A bright part of the meeting was a concert - focusing on creative acts, the organizers did amazingly: what could be more beautiful and expressive than the language of music, dance, poems? The freshmen of the Institute of Chemistry and Ecology in Vyatgu, Amalia Akbarova and Shukrona Ismoilova from Tajikistan, performed the fascinating national dance. Their countrywoman Sitora Rahmonbekova, this year entered in Vyatka GATU also pleased with the exquisite dance number. The fiery Uzbek dance presented the third year student of the Faculty of Automatics and Computer Engineering Vyatgu, Dildora Ernazarova. Student of 2nd course of the Faculty of Philology and Media Communications in VyatSU Konstantin Dalitz (Germany) introduced the audience with German poetry, and the freshman of the Institute of Economics and Management in VyatSU Lerua Poati Sinief from the Republic of Congo read poems of their own writing. A storm of ovations caused the speech of the future doctor, the third year student of Kirov GMU Benedicta Corcor, who performed the song, like a real star!
An important component of the meeting was the open dialogue in the "Question - Answer" format. Employment, vaccination, possibility of free sports and even the mode of operation of the Kirov transport in the rush hour - on most questions, students received answers directly during the conversation, the other part was transferred to paper for further study.
A tasting of national dishes took place in conclusion and a collective photo was made for memory.
