In the Year of Ecology in Russia Kirov pharmaceutical company AVVA RUS and Vyatka State University have launched an Experimental Science and Education Program.

Pharmaceutical biotechnology is one of the priority directions of the University's development. We’ve started cooperation with AVVA RUS in April, and now we can see the first results of our work. The students have already visited the company’s production site, and many of them noted that AVVA RUS is a modern company where they would like to work and develop their career, - VyatSU Rector Valentin Pugach said.

In early April Vyatka State University announced the competition EKOFARMPRORYV with a reward for winners. The contest sponsor is the pharmaceutical company AVVA RUS. For two months students had been preparing their presentations of developed environmental programs that could be used in a modern pharmaceutical enterprise. They invented new ways of protecting the environment and working in the pharmaceutical industry.

And finally on May 27, 2017 all participants were awarded commemorative diplomas, and the best students were awarded 20,000RUR, 15,000RUR and 5,000RUR for the first, second and third places respectively.

Zukhra Khasanshina, Maria Volkova and Julia Beresneva have become the winners. The Rector Valentin Pugach together with Director of AVVA RUS Olga Gordienko sincerely congratulated them.

We invite the best students for paid traineeships with possibility of further employment, and we try to motivate them with such contests. EKOFARMPRORYV was aimed at revealing the students potential, increasing the interest of young people in biopharmaceutics. In addition this open presentation of competition works helped us to find students suitable for our company, - Olga Gordienko, Director of AVVA RUS said.

The contest was held in two stages. At first the contest works were evaluated by some experts, and they formed a shortlist; then the works from this list were personally presented by students. And here we used a lot of evaluation criteria - from the content to the ability to present information.

I really liked the contest, despite the fact that it was difficult to prepare in a short time. I’ve learned a lot about ecological aspect of the work of a pharmaceutical company, got acquainted with the demanded standards and tried to present a new ecological model. Special pleasure was to get a money reward. This, of course, was very motivating, - Zuhra Khasanshina, a winner of EKOFARMPRORYV shared her impressions.
