The World Championship in hand-to-hand combat among athletes under the age of 21 took place on September 20-23 in Tula. 300 fighters from 20 countries fought for the victory.
Student of VyatSU College Irina Tcherezova took part in the championship as a member of the Russian national team. On the first day of the competition she managed to win the highest sports award in a “16-17” age group.
Irina’s major in VyatSU College is "Physical Culture". This young athlete is quite experienced – having already won various competitions of different level, not only in hand-to-hand fighting, but also in boxing, kickboxing and wushu.
