VyatSU continues scientific research in the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation

Scientists of the Institute of Economics and Management conducted a study of the existing system of state support for citizens during the period of unemployment, as well as the parameters of the functioning of the system of social insurance against unemployment

The Russian economy needs high-quality labor resources - professional, mobile, flexible in terms of retraining and relocation, who own digital technologies. High volatility in the labor market, caused both by economic crises and ongoing technological changes, economic restructuring, increases the instability of employment and the risk of losing a job in various socio-demographic groups. At the same time, in the conditions of population aging, the relevance of the accompanied employment of citizens with low competitiveness in the labor market (youth without work experience, disabled people, women with young children, as well as people released from places of detention, etc.) is increasing.

Scientists from the Institute of Economics and Management of the Vyatka State University have developed a methodology and presented a financial and economic justification for the formation of a system of compulsory social insurance against unemployment.

The results of the scientific study "Development of a financial and economic justification for the formation of a system of compulsory social insurance against unemployment" by scientists from Vyatka State University will be used in the activities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to work on improving the labor resources management system and modernizing employment services, including developing proposals for creating a system social insurance against unemployment.
