67 students of VyatSU competed in 11 competencies, and the experts included the 100 best specialists of the region and other cities: Moscow, Kazan and Yekaterinburg

The tense struggle is over - the awards ceremony for the participants of the university qualifying championship WorldSkills took place. According to the regulations of the WorldSkills Championship, three winners were selected in each competence, the distribution was the same as in sports competitions: gold, silver and bronze.

In addition to the winners, the experts identified the contestants who received at least 500 points in their competence. Such participants received the "Medallion for Professionalism", confirming their professional qualifications.

Konstantin Bazhin, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Project Activities, VyatSU:

WorldSkills is about hard team work: with each of the participants worked an expert, all the successes of the champions are the successes of the teachers. A huge number of people have invested in making this championship take place. I must say words of gratitude to those people who are not visible, but without them the championship would not have taken place: these are partners, the championship management, organizers and a large team of VyatSU. I am sincerely glad that the championship was held thanks to you, the team and partners.

Surprisingly, by studying only in 2 and 4 courses, VyatSU students are already proving their professional skills and declaring their readiness to compete in the labor market. At the closing ceremony, the participants received concrete confirmation of this: representatives of the partner organizations of the championship declared their readiness to employ students who showed high results. This is evidence that WorldSkills contributes to economic growth and personal success.

Winners of the WS 2021 university championship:

    Kirill Yuzhanin ("Laboratory Chemical Analysis")
    Verbitsky Evgeniy ("CAD Engineering Design")
    Saltanova Maria, Arslanov Lev ("Entrepreneurship")
    Khozyainova Yana ("Advertising")
    Suslonova Inna ("Preschool education")
Sokolova Daria ("Teaching in primary and secondary schools")
Tsylyov Dmitry ("Technology of physical development")
Gushchina Anastasia ("Software solutions for business")
Sagan Rodion ("Internet Marketing" within the competence of FutureSkills).

Each of the participants was awarded with diplomas and gifts from sponsors. Especially in 2021, the organizers noted the VyatSU college, which proved that students of secondary vocational education are in no way inferior to their “colleagues” from the university. Proof of this is the victory of the college representatives in two new competencies at once: "Development of mobile applications" (winners Renat Gavizov and Nikita Borisov), "Entrepreneurship" (winners Nikita Ogarkov and Gleb Rybchenko).

10 champions of the WorldSkills qualifying university championship won a ticket to the National Interuniversity Championship "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)". Representatives of the university will have to defend the honor of not only Vyatka State University, but the whole Kirov region in Moscow in November.

We congratulate the winners and prize-winners of the championship and wish them a worthy performance at the National Interuniversity Championship!
