VyatSU student became one of the winners of the competition "Volunteer of the Vyatka Territory"

The competition, organised by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of the Kirov Region, annually identifies and encourages volunteers who have made a great contribution to the development of volunteering

The competition started in October 2021 with a record number of applications from volunteers and volunteer non-profit organizations.

    "The competition is gaining popularity and importance, and we will, of course, continue to develop it. In our opinion, it is very important to celebrate the best volunteers so that as many people as possible, kind, caring and responsible, follow their example." - noted the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of the Kirov region, Georgy Barminov.

The list of winners included a third-year student of the direction of training "Organization of work with youth" of the Faculty of History, Political Sciences and Cultural Studies - Alexandra Parfyonova. The girl won the Best Event Volunteer nomination. For the last year, Alexandra has been the Deputy Head of the #WesportTEAM (#МыспортTEAM) movement, with her help more than 30 sports events have been organized in different regions of the country.

    In fact, I have not yet fully realized that I have become a winner. I know that the competition in our region is quite serious, so I was ready for any outcome. Victory for me means that my work is appreciated, which means that I am doing everything right and must move even higher and further. Having become the winner of the regional competition, I realized that it was time to move to a new level - the all-Russian one, so I am ready to do good deeds, ready to implement projects and to participate in other competitions!

Note that the #WesportTEAM (#МыспортTEAM) movement of sports volunteers of the Kirov region, functioning on the basis of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, was recognized as the best volunteer association of the year. Today it is one of the largest associations that have been organizing volunteer activities for three years.
