This is the result of studying 174 Russian Support Centers for Technology and Innovation On September 3-4 the Sixth Congress of Support Centers for Technology and Innovation of Russia was held in both St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great and St. Petersburg State University. The event brought together leading experts in the field of intellectual property. VyatSU was presented by Lyudmila Fedoseyeva, engineer on patent and inventive work of VyatSU Department of intellectual property.
The Congress was organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), the Administration of St. Petersburg, Federal Institute of Industrial Property, St.Petersburg National Research University for Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, and the Center for International Cooperation "Caduceus".
During the Congress the results of 2017 were summed up: VyatSU Support Center for Technology and Innovation (core organization of Rospatent in Kirov region) headed by Intellectual Property Department entered the Russian top 15 suchlike Centers out of 174! And it was awarded the diploma "For contribution to the development of invention, theories and practices of legal protection of intellectual property objects and scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation regions".
This 1st level Center has been operating at Vyatka State University since 2012 and has been assisting in copyrighting, patent and related rights, licensing, advising on protection and use of intellectual property, depositing of intellectual property rights, patent researching, and free accessing to patent information resources (databases of patent offices).
With assistance of VyatSU Support Center for Technology and Innovation there were launched 2nd level Centers in Kirov region. They are operating in Kirov Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion of Federal Biomedical Agency of Russia and Kirov State Universal Scientific Library named after A.I.Herzen.
