About 100 representatives of Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk will take part in the regional qualifying stage of the all-Russian Olympiad among schoolchildren. The winners will go to the final in Anapa.
On January 25-26 the regional qualifying stage of the open all-Russian Olympiad in 3D-technologies among students will be held at the Polytechnic Institute of VyatSU (Kirov, Lomonosov str., 18a, building 10). It is organized within the project "Engineers of the future: digital technologies" by
Vyatka State University and the Association of innovations in the field of 3D-technologies (St. Petersburg). Almost 100 students from Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk will participate in the event. All of them have succeeded in performing tasks on 3D-modeling at school technology lessons and in technical creativity circles.
Competitions will be held by age categories 10+ and 14+ in two nominations:
- "Dimensional drawing - art creativity"
- "3D-modeling and prototyping".
In addition, for the first time in the nomination “Dimensional drawing" 1st and 2nd year schoolchildren will take part too - their age category is 7+.
The experts will assess the performance of tasks by the contestants.
The winners of the regional stage of the Olympiad will go to the all-Russian final, which will be held in April 2019 in Anapa.
