On Saturday the Xth tournament on weight-lifting "Memory Cup" dedicated to the Hero of Russia Sergei Ozhegov and to passed soldiers-internationalists was held in the sports complex "Olympia" in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk.
The event was organized by the Department for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of Kirovo-Chepetsk Administration, Kirov Region Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans "Combat Brotherhood" and the non-profit organization "Kirov Region Support and Development Fund for weight-lifting".
112 athletes from 11 teams took part in the tournament.
A confident victory in team competition was taken by Vyatka State University team headed by Nikolay Berdinskikh from the Physical Education Department.
