The solemn ceremony was held on the 17th of August at VyatSU Academic Council meeting.
By order of Vitaly Mutko, the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, VyatSU Acting Rector Valentin Pugach and Acting Vice-rector for educational work Yuri Kuvaldin were awarded by a commemorative medal and diplomas signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin for their contribution to the preparation and holding of XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
We should recall that VyatSU was an official partner and organizer of events on preparation and holding of XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
VyatSU volunteers made special contribution to the games, they worked in various spheres during the Universiade. For their professionalism and responsibility the volunteers were also highly appreciated and praised.
