"Polytech Accelerator" summed up the results of the first events for freshmen

On September 14, a meeting of first-year students of the Polytechnic University was held at the "Engineering" Vyatka State University. They participated in the Polytechnic Accelerator, a creative program for organizing and adapting new students

According to the director of the Polytechnic Institute Ivan Gubin, the Polytech Accelerator was created to help first-year students quickly adapt to student life, get to know each other, teachers and the university. The Acclerator is a course in Moodle where participants complete online and offline challenges. For example, they prepared a self-presentation and looked for the right office during a virtual tour of the university building.

According to the Polytechnic University, a total of 739 people took part in the Accelerator. During offline events and walks, they walked 1,760 km together - this is equal to the way from Kirov to Pskov and back!

66 of the most active participants of the program were awarded certificates and gifts from the partners of the event, who are also potential employers of Polytechnic University students and are already interested in future engineers: Lepse JSC, Mayak PJSC, Avitek and Zhelezno Group of Companies. The trade union committee of students of Vyatka State University also took part in organizing the events.

This year, the Polytech Accelerator will continue to work until the Goldberg Cup, which will be held on December 7, 2022, is a student competition for the construction of Goldberg machines.
