In April 20, in Kirov regional scientific library named after Herzen the results of the XVIII regional contest "Vyatskaya book of the year 2015" were summed up.
Doctor of arts, Professor of VSU Natalya Krivosheina was awarded "Special diploma" for the book "the Town of Vyatskiye Polyany. Vyatskiye Polyany district" (together with Skopin, E. L., Krivosheina N. V.). The publication has received high rating and positive review in Moscow Institute of art studies; the authors were invited to cooperate in the Federal project – the creation of a list of monuments of culture of Russia.
The contest "Vyatskaya book – 2015" brought together scholars, writers, publishers, readers, researchers, and librarians. There were more than 900 books, brochures, leaflets, magazines, electronic publications issued on the territory of the Kirov region in 2015, and received by the library. A. I. Herzen.
