More than 1 200 people registered to participate in the race. Among them there were VyatSU teachers and students as well as guests from other cities.
The distances varied from 250 meters for the youngest participants up to 21 km for the most trained runners and athletes.
Several dozen of VyatSU students and teachers headed by the acting rector of the University Valentin Pugach also ran various distances.
All the funds collected from the marathon will go to support the children's charity sports project “I Believe in You!".
All participants of the sports festival received commemorative medals and good mood.
