Vyatka State University was represented by the team of Alexey Vorobyov (FKiFMN, PMIb-21), Kirill Dekhterev (FAVT, IVTb-21) and Anna Prozorova (FKiFMN, PMIb-21). They successfully overcame the quarterfinal a half month before. By the results of the contest VytSU students were awarded a diploma of the 3rd degree.

A good training for them was the participation in the Open programming contest at Kazan Federal University that was held one week before the ACM semifinal. There have been qualified the teams from Vladikavkaz, Izhevsk, Innopolis, Kazan, Kirov, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, St.Petersburg, Ulyanovsk and Ufa.
