On October 5-7 the Forum "Development Factor" was held in Kostroma, where VyatSU student delegation of Elizaveta Lopatina, Andrey Merzlyakov, Irina Mikheeva, Ksenia Perevozchikova and Darya Pochasheva participated.
The forum gathered more than 120 representatives of youth student associations, primary trade union organizations, volunteer groups, and student councils of Russian basic higher education institutions.
On the first day a plenary meeting took place, and A.Naumov, Rector of Kostroma State University, took part in it. He outlined the goals of cooperation between basic universities. According to the Rector the main goal now is creation of technical and social entrepreneurship.
Round tables were organized during the forum on the following topics: "Volunteering: experience and perspectives", "Student self-government: experience and perspectives".
Representatives of universities reported on their associations, goals, activities and focus.
Great interest was caused by a master class "White spots of project activity" where students learned a lot of useful information about the structure of projects and ways of searching ideas.
A presentations’ show took place within the forum as well. The presented projects were devoted to volunteering and assisting to disabled people and pensioners, working with schoolchildren and eco-teams creating.
The cultural program organized for the guests of the forum included a tour around Kostroma.
The Forum "Development Factor" ended up with certificates delivery and a thanksgiving speech of the participants to the organizers of the event.
