Minor Academy of Public Administration announces students admission for the new academic year

To become a student of Minor Academy of Public Administration future managers must pass the university selection with the main criteria of high academic performance, social and scientific achievements. A personal interview with the candidate is the final stage of the admission procedure. It should be mentioned that students from any university of our town may try to enter the Academy.

Basic requirements to applicants:

-              Age up to 30,

-              bachelor’s or specialist degree (3-4 courses),

-              Master’s degree (any course).

The main criteria for selecting applicants: high academic performance, research and social activity.

Required documents:

-              copy of student’s record book or GPA (grade point average),

-              diploma(s) copy,

-              copies of awards for the public and scientific activities,

-              copies of publications.

After finishing the Academy the graduates receive a certificate of the Сhief Federal Inspector in Kirov region and recommendation for admission to the personnel reserve of the Kirov region government. Graduates also receive a diploma of professional retraining program "Public Administration System".

Minor Academy of Public Administration has been functioning in the Volga Federal District since 2006 (the first Academies were established in the Republic of Tatarstan, Perm Krai, Nizhny Novgorod and Saratov regions in 2006, and in 2007 in Kirov region).

The main objective of the Academy is to identify and invite for study the most capable and socially active young people whose ambitions are to work in public service in the sphere of state management.

According to statistics more than 70% of Academy graduates have found working positions in state and municipal service. The most worthy of them are included in both the Volga Federal District and Federal staff reserve. More than 200 people in total have graduated from the Academy since 2007.
