The All-Russian Competition for Young Technological Entrepreneurs 2021 starts

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announces the opening of registration for the All-Russian Competition for Young Technological Entrepreneurs, organized with the support of the Skolkovo Foundation

The competition is aimed at supporting innovative ideas of students and the development of youth in the field of technological entrepreneurship. The selection of contestants will take place in 7 areas in accordance with the priorities of the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation:

    - Digital, intelligent manufacturing technologies, robotic systems, large data processing systems, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
    - Environmentally friendly and resource-saving energy, production and deep processing of hydrocarbons, transportation and storage of energy.
    - Personalized medicine, high-tech healthcare and health-preserving technologies.
    - Highly productive and environmentally friendly agricultural and aquaculture farms, chemical and biological protection of agricultural plants and animals, processing of agricultural products, production of safe and high-quality food.
    - Counteraction against technogenic, biogenic, socio-cultural threats, terrorism and ideological extremism, as well as cyber threats and other sources of danger to society, the economy and the state.
    - Intelligent transport and telecommunication systems, international transport and logistics systems, as well as outer space and airspace of the World Ocean, Arctic and Antarctic.
    - Interaction between humans and nature, humans and technology.

The competition will be held in two stages. The first stage, regional, will be held from October 29 to December 4 in a distance format. At this stage, participants will undergo training in all stages of project development from idea to startup and receive recommendations for finalizing their own projects from mentors and experts in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.

As part of the second, final, stage, the best graduates of the pre-accelerator will have the opportunity to present their projects to an expert jury. From 5 to 8 December, a face-to-face acceleration program will be held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Business angels, representatives of investment funds, high-tech companies, start-ups and development institutions will evaluate the projects of the finalists. The three best projects will take part in the VIII Annual National Exhibition "Vuzpromexpo" in December this year.
