On February 19, employees of the Department of Foreign Languages of Non-Linguistic Directions of VyatSU became speakers of the interuniversity scientific and methodological seminar "Innovative technologies in teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university", organized by Kostroma State University.
During the event, aimed at sharing effective experience in teaching languages online, teachers from Russian universities discussed innovative means and platforms for distance learning. Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Padlet and Jamboard, Miro, Wisemapping - the exchange of views on the use of these services led to the conclusion that modern learning is unthinkable without distance technologies, which significantly expand the possibilities of the educational process by visualizing educational information and automating information retrieval and methodical activity.
Teachers of Vyatka State University presented the project #УчуEnglish_ВятГУ (#LearningEnglish_VyatSU), which aroused great interest of colleagues. Next year, linguists from the largest university in the Kirov region hope that the circle of project participants will expand: students from Kostroma State University, Ivanovo State Power Engineering University named after V.I. Lenin, the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K. Tymoshenko.
