Vyatka State University actively cooperates with other universities in Russia

This time, the staff of the resource educational and methodological center (REMC) of VyatSU held three events at once at the Chuvash State University named after I. N. Ulyanov.

The participants were university teachers, representatives of public organizations, students with disabilities and their parents.

The issues of increasing the accessibility of higher education for the disabled were discussed.

Employees of VyatSU spoke about the adaptation of the main professional educational programs of higher education for students with disabilities, about the organization of the educational process, taking into account the characteristics of students with disabilities and the possibilities of using material and technical means in inclusive education, the experience of the development of inclusive education at Chuvash State University was presented.

“The meeting was attended by representatives of three universities of the Chuvash Republic at once - the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after Yakovlev, the Chuvash State University named after Ulanov and the Chuvash State Agrarian University, said the head of the REMC VyatSU Svetlana Bashmakova.“ The participants asked many questions. For example, about the financial side. there were questions about the specialists who accompany students with disabilities during their studies.Representatives of universities were interested in how to teach students with disabilities studying in engineering.

Also, a meeting was held at CSU, in which students with disabilities and their parents took part. It was about guidelines for the educational activities of students with disabilities and disabilities in the context of the coronavirus.
