Vyatka State University became a platform for the creation of an international scientific and educational consortium "Engineering Education"

 The parties of the agreement were the universities of Russia, Portugal, Kazakhstan. In addition, a document was signed on cooperation between VyatSU and Don State Technical University in the field of innovative transport technologies.

At Vyatka State University, a seminar on the implementation of the Erasmus + Enter project continues to work, aimed at developing a multi-level modular system for pedagogical training of teachers of engineering programs on the basis of international network cooperation.

On July 9, in Engineeringium, a number of agreements were signed on further cooperation between Russian and foreign universities - partners in the Enter project. Vyatka State University, Tambov State Technical University, Kazan National Research Technological University, Don State Technical University, Kazakh National University "Al-Farabi", Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal) signed an agreement on the creation of a research consortium "Engineering Education" aimed at the development of professional and pedagogical training of teachers of engineering programs in universities.

Among the key areas of cooperation is the generalization of Russian and foreign experience in creating effective methods for training highly qualified teachers of engineering programs; development of variable programs for the training of teachers of engineering disciplines, technologies for creating individual educational trajectories in engineering pedagogy, models of network interaction for the implementation of educational modules and replication of project results, legal and regulatory documents for organizing network cooperation, criteria for assessing the professional competencies of teachers of engineering programs, and criteria for assessing the quality of educational programs; joint research and design work, consulting and expertise; preparation of joint applications for competitions of projects and programs.

The signing of the document is of the utmost importance for each of the parties. Professor of the Polytechnic University of Porto, Jose Carlos Quadrado, drew attention to this, noting the importance of activities to improve the quality of engineering education in a modern university.


Answering the question about the significance of the event for VyatSU, Rector Valentin Pugach emphasized:

    The content component, the list of areas of cooperation between universities is very important. The Enter consortium of the Erasmus+ program has been working for several years to improve the quality of engineering education - there are wonderful developments! For me, as a rector, the task is to introduce these advanced technologies into engineering education at VyatSU in order to improve its quality.

In addition, Valentin Nikolayevich noted, the signing of the agreement meets the conditions of the program of strategic academic leadership "Priority-2030", which the largest university in the region seeks to get into.

Elena Mishchenko, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the Tambov State Technical University, said:

    Tambov State Technical University has long been in the trend of engineering education. Engineering pedagogy is very important for us in the implementation of relevant educational programs. We continue to move in this direction. The signing of the agreement will lead to a more effective exchange of experience: after all, a synergistic effect always yields positive results. Each of the partner universities has priority areas, wonderful developments - I am sure we will be useful to each other.

In addition to the agreement on the creation of the Engineering Education consortium, an agreement was signed on cooperation in the field of innovative transport technologies. The corresponding agreement was signed by the rector of the Vyatka State University Valentin Pugach and the vice-rector of the Don State Technical University Aleksey Beskopylyny.
