On June 6 Interfax published the National University Ranking - 2017
264 higher educational institutions of Russia have been rated. Vyatka State University was the only representative from Kirov and took the 97th place with 372 points out of 1000 possible.
The activity of universities is evaluated on six parameters in a 1000-point scale. The overall score is formed in six main areas: education (20%), scientific research (20%), social environment (15%), international and interregional cooperation (15%), innovation (15%) and university brand (15%). Six parametric separate ratings are also published based on each of the directions.
Interfax experts collected open data regarding University activities, as well as questionnaires, data of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia monitoring, and results of analysis carried out with the help of the System of Comprehensive News Analysis.
We would like to remind you that the National University Ranking was launched in 2010 in order to develop and approve new mechanisms for an independent evaluation system for Russian universities.
