On May 17 Vyatka State University signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of economic development of Kirov region.
Signing of the agreement on cooperation in the fields of strategic planning and investment policy was initiated by the Ministry of economic development of Kirov region.
Vyatka State University is well known as a leading University in the region and has been training qualified specialists. The University possesses a huge research potential: it includes 9 Institutes and 75 Departments where over 25,000 students are studying at the moment on above 96 specialties and 159 profiles. The University staff is about 1000 persons, including 150 Doctors of Sciences and Professors, more than 600 Candidates of Sciences and Associate Professors.
The subject of the agreement is the cooperation of Vyatka State University with the Ministry of economic development of Kirov region. It is aimed at forming the system of strategic planning and investment policy of Kirov region.
The agreement is basically aimed at attracting VyatSU students and teachers to projects for solving socio-economic problems of Kirov region, for creating a possibility for scientific debates on issues of regional development with the participation of a wide range of experts.
The Ministry of economic development of Kirov region provides an opportunity for VyatSU students to gain practical skills during their internship period and to become the government officers in the future.
Close interaction of Vyatka State University with the Ministry of economic development is supposed to give good results in elaboration of proposals in important areas of strategic planning and investment policy of Kirov region.
