Students of the Center became winners and prizewinners in both competitive nominations.
Yesterday, on the basis of the institution of additional education "Station of young technicians", there were VI open city competitions in robotics "RoboBest-2018". Students of grades 1-11 of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, institutions of additional education in Kirov took part in these competitions.
Students of the scientific and educational Center of Robotics and Mechatronics were among the participants. All of them showed high results in each of the nominations.
The first place in the nomination "Labyrinth" in the younger age category took the third grader Alexander Gavryutin. Alexander masters the educational program "Fundamentals of Robotics".
Sixth-graders Ivan Simakov and Artem Samodelkin, students of the "Educational Robotics" program, also successfully took on the competition. They got the second place in the nomination "Races on the Line" of their age category.
Mentors explained that all boys who took part in competitions were first-year students. Achievements of high results of these students in a short period testifies to the high level of training in the center of robotics and mechatronics of the Flagship University.
