The Centers are organized at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology within the strategic project "Agency for Educational Innovation" of VyatSU Development Program for 2016-2020.
Junior WorldSkills tournament gives schoolchildren a possibility to choose their profession in our rapidly changing world, to decide on their educational track and find their future place in the labor market without any problems. They can also try themselves in specific specialties, get information about professions directly from representatives of the professional community, and observe possible career growth.
In February 2018 VyatSU vocational guidance centers train future young teachers for WorldSkills Junior competitions of the World Championship of Professional Skills according to WorldSkills standards.
Senior pupils from Kirov schools № 11, 58, 59 will compete in presentation competencies "Preschool education" and "Teaching in junior classes".
Anna Sennikova (School № 58, 9th grade), Karina Demeneva (School № 59, 9th grade), Valeria Maryina (School № 59, 9th grade), Daria Chuvashova (School № 11, 10th grade), Yegor Kasilov (School № 11, 10th grade) are preparing for competitions in competence "Preschool education", including expressive reading, book presenting and discussing, and also carrying out a lesson in robotics with preschool children (using Lego constructor).
Maria Blinova (School № 58, 9th grade), Anna Zakhlestina (School №11, 10th grade), Ksenia Negoitse (School № 11, 10th grade), Danaya Bobkova (School № 11, 10th grade), Anastasia Cheshuina (School № 11, 10th grade) are preparing for competitions in the competence "Teaching in junior classes". It includes conducting an out-of-class educational event using interactive robotics.
Children are pleased to study modern equipment used in educational organizations under the guidance of university teachers.
