Students and teachers of VyatSU Faculty of technology, engineering and design designed and manufactured sets of uniforms for the employees of the university food factory.
The design of the uniform is developed taking into account the corporate stylistics of Vyatka State University. Coloristic decision includes the symbolic blue gamma of the university: light blue, cornflower blue and dark blue colors, as well as white and yellow.
Results of employee’s surveys were taken into account while designing.
Nadezhda Kazakova, a teacher from the Department of technology and method of teaching technology, a multiple prize-winner of all-Russian and international fashion design competitions, supervised the designing process.
Manufacture of products was carried out within the practical classes by students of 2-4 courses of direction "Designing of light industry products".
The students talked about the gained experience.
"We sewed products in batches using principle of division of labor. There was an opportunity to work in the conditions of mass production of clothes. Thanks to this, I improved my speed skills, and became more confident in performing machine operations".
The girls mastered the uniforms design on example of clothes for canteen employees, as well as new methods of processing products, and gained experience of collective responsibility in teamwork.
