VyatSU is again among the leaders of WorldSkills Russia in the piggy bank "gold" and "silver" from College students

For five days, more than 150 contestants from among students, young professionals, as well as schoolchildren, competed in 27 competencies, the most demanded specialties on the labor market. Among them are the service sector, manufacturing and engineering technologies, education, information and communication technologies, construction and construction technologies, creativity and design, transport and logistics.

Within the framework of the championship, for the first time in the region, competitions were held in accounting, veterinary medicine, truck driving, metal construction, and even hotel administration. All in all, the event covered 12 sites - workshops of technical schools and colleges of Kirov, Kirovo-Chepetsk, Slobodskoy, Vyatskiye Polyany and Kumens.

According to the results of the competition, 2 prizes - "gold" and "silver" were won by the students of the VyatSU College. Alexey Elsukov (direction "Technology of mechanical engineering") - 1st place in the competence "Engineering design CAD". Egor Bagaev (direction "Information systems and programming") took 2nd place in the competence "Software solutions for business".

Let us remind that the organizers of the championship are the Ministry of Education of the Kirov region and the Regional Coordination Center of the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Movement in the Kirov region. According to the results of the competition, the Kirov region team will be formed, which will represent the region at the WorldSkills Russia National Championship "Young Professionals".
